Student Highlights

Nick McGraw w/ Ron Dupuis & JJ Machado
Nick has been training with Chief Instructor Ron Dupuis since the age of 4.  He received his junior black belt at the age of 10 in Isshinryu Karate and began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.  Nick has proven to be a very quick learner, demonstrating skills beyond his age.  This was recognized most recently by Professor Machado, who awarded Nick with his Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in March of 2010, making Nick the youngest student (15 years old) in this area of martial arts to receive his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Blue Belt.

Jade Dufour w/ Ron Dupuis and JJ Machado
Jade started training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with Chief Instructor Ron Dupuis at the age of 7 and has proven to be quite the competitor.   In 2009, she won her division (70-79 lbs) at the Elite Federation of Grapplers tournament in both gi and no gi.  In addition, she was bestowed the "Competitor of the Year" award based on her demonstrated skill set and commitment to the sport.  Watch for her in the years to come, as she is likely to be a force to be reckoned with as she moves into her adult years.
